Excessive waiting time for internet activation

When I applied for a subscription for home internet, I was given an estimated activation date of 11/15/2024. When I asked why this date was so far away, I was told that this was the latest activation date and that this date could be brought forward when the modem was delivered to me. The modem was delivered within 2 days and I installed it, but now I cannot bring forward the activation date in any way. In my case, I was told that a technician's visit was not even necessary. Why does a remote activation process take so long? Is there really no way to bring forward this date?

welcome to our community. Glad you found us anyway. 🙂

Even though there is no need of a visit by a technician someone has to install the new connection remotely. This is not an automatic process so we need an appointment as well.

Maybe there is a chance to prepone the activation but no gurantee. Please call the helpline: 089 66 66 30 08 1 to ask for a solution.
