Hi!

Two weeks ago, I sent a request for termination of my DSL contract because I need to moved to another place here in Germany on November(Flensburg to Mannheim). I already received a confirmation message from O2, but I would like to know if the termination of my DSL will be on November or December since I had read the contract that I should notify O2 two months prior. What is also confusing for me is in confirmation message states, that the Termination will be on June 14, 2021. I have no idea on how its going to be since I am new here in Germany. What should I do? I dont want to pay the cause until next year.Thank you in advance!

Contracts run for 24 months and have to be terminated by giving three months' notice to the end of the contract term. When did you conclude the contract? June 2018? That would explain the date. You can also request to have your contract moved to your new address.

if you are moving to a new address within germany it will be possible to move your DSL connection with you in most cases.

I already visited O2 shop today and since I have the information of my new appartment, they made a new order for the DSL connection. I was skeptish, because the Vermieter had told me that the Internet provider for the whole building is only Unitymedia.I told that to the agent in O2 shop, but he said that the technician must check it first.Also,is it possible if I transfer the DSL contract to someone?Since my colleague is the one staying in my previous appartment, she had asked me if she can take over the DSL contract and the payment responsibilities and I think that is much better.Thank you in advance!

Oh I see.What should I do first,terminate my order for the technician's appointment or talk first to your Backoffice colleague? As far as I know, I should inform O2 if I wanted to cancel my order within 14days. What if I excedeed that period? Is there any considerations?Since my main goal here is just to continue the present contract and my recent order was only for the technician's appointment to check the availability of Telephone line in my new Appartment.

if I see it right you already were in touch with our colleagues regadring the moving of the DSL connection. Were he other questions regarding giving the ownershop of the contract to a new person also answered? :-)

Yes, I already called the Service center and got answers on my concerns regarding these matter but, I would like to ask if there is another formular for the change of contract ownership? I already search O2 site but,what I have seen is only the Form for the change of Bank account for autodebit. There is another link but, seems currupted.Can you send me or give another link for these Form? Thank you in advance!
