Hi there. I had terminated the O2 contract for 2 years, which I signed in December 2017. In my letter of termination I had received confirmation from O2. For a connection that I never use, however, I am still charged a monthly fee. Please help us understand why my cancellation request is still not in effect.

sorry for the delayed reply. Welcome to our Community. :relaxed:

 

Your contract has a notice period of three month, that’s why your tariff is still active until the 4th of january 2021. The former contract term was 5th, january 2018 to 4th, january 2020 and we received your cancellation on the 17th, october 2019. :confused:

Thanks for your response. I have moved from this place and I no longer live in Cologne. I've not been using the DSL from O2 now. 

Please can you help me in cancelling my contract with immediate effect. Please advise what can be done to avoid the charges which I'm paying for a service which is not used at all. 

I wouldn't continue with this contract. Please help. Thanks.

if you’re moving abroad, please send this form to the above mentioned address. It’s for mobile contract, but works for DSL aswell. :wink:

I have been paying O2 for the whole year of 2020 without even using the DSL. This is because, there was a delay in sending out the cancellation letter of my contract in last October. I would like to be very vigilant this time and would like to request you to cancel my contract by end of the current term. Please help in cancelling my contract. Hello,

I tried to use the link to notify/reserve my notice of cancellation, but every time I end up reading a message of some technical issues. This is now persisting since a week. I'm currently not in Germany and couldn't send a fax or a letter. Attached the screenshot of your link. 

Please help at the earliest possible.

Hello @Irfanhb15,

you tried to login with your DSL account? If you are trying to login with a deactivated mbobile account it will work for some time but you do not have access to every area.

How do I access this online mode of cancelling my contract. I'm currently in India and couldn't return to Germany due to the pandemic and travel ban. 

Please can you help me in cancelling mythe O2 DSL contract.

as long as you are registered with your landline phone number use this and you selected password as login credentials. 

As far as I can see a few postings above, your DSL contract already recieved a letter of cancelation from you and will be deactivated on the 4th of January 2021.

If you want to cancel your contract to an earlier date you will find all information and necessary documents in this PDF file.

Thanks for your kind response. Please can you check within your system if you've a cancellation marked for this DSL contract on 4th January 2021?

Or do I have to notify you again regarding the cancellation of my contract? I'm worried and concerned that again I've to pay because of late notification. 

Please can you confirm that everything is fine with me and you'll surely deactivate my DSL contract with O2 by 04.01.2021.

as far as I can see my colleague @o2_Michi already confirmed this in his answer from February the 11th here he explains why the contract is runnning up to this date. :-)
