I have asked for the "Vertragsinhaberwechsel" last month. (28.03.2021) 

However there is no update regarding it until now.

Instead of contract transfer, O2 cancelled my kündigung request made last year.

 

I do not know what is going on. Could you tell me how's it going, why did they cancel my cancellation request, when will it be done.

 

My friend who wants to get my contract just moved to new APT. She is now living without internet.

 

Please give us an update as soon as possible.

What do you mean by "new apartment"? In the o2 DSL contract, an exact connection address and flat is agreed as the place of service provision. This means that only the next tenant of your flat can take over your o2 DSL contract and use it in exactly this flat. If your friend is not living in your (previous?) flat, he can not use your o2 DSL connection anyways. 


Cannot she take the contract and move the address?

There is a "Umzug" option.


Why should anyone want to do that? The new contract partner pays for changing the contract holder, get’s no discounts, pays again for moving the connection, waits for weeks until the new connection at the new address is provided. Makes no sense. Anyone in sane who is not moving into your apartment would simply make a new contract on his own.
