Hello,

I received an email to convert my O2 DSL to modern,futhue-proof technology yesterday. And I also recieve the necessary data ( VoIP-PIN) in writing in advance.  I connected my laptop to router, and I had tried so many times to finish the changeover last night, but failed. I want to know If I have missed the changeover time? If yes, what should I do?

Thanks very much.
Wei

Edit o2_Lars: Transfered from DSL/Router to English/Broadband

Could you tell us what the HomeBox is telling you?

Have you done a Werksrest Factory default reset?

what is the led of DSL / Internet / Info are doing?

ok, I input the VoIP-PIN and click the Anmelden.

what is the Werksrest Factory, the router? i am sorry I dont konw how to reset router. i just power off and power on the router several times. Now , i am not at home, so i dont know the state of led of DSL / Internet / Info.

The Kennwort is the Password for the Router from the first time you setup the System

On the back of the router near the switch is a little hole. There you could do the Factory default reset. Press the button 30 sec.

help to find reset

I reset the router and solve the problem. Now, my laptop can connect to internet.  Thanks very much.

The Wlan Name of your router you could find ob the back, even the password for the wlan.

As the rest name told you it is a “factory default” reset.

Do the connection to the router with cable…

what is the led of DSL / Internet / Info are doing?

The picture show the status of the router. My device couldn't connect to the internet just now,but it can connect again if I power off and power on the router. Could you please tell me what the problem is?

By the way, I have an another question, should I still input the VoIP-PIN in O2 HomeBox?

Hello @ouyangwei1,

If you connect to the Web GUI of your router and it is promting you to configure it, please insert the DSL PIN. If the connectio nis working in general, like the internet and telephone is working, there is no need for a new setup of the router.

How is the connection working now? Is it stable again? Or is there still a loss of connection and the DSL LED turns off? In this case please have a look at our o2 my Service App. It will suggest some tipps for troubleshooting, if these tipps do not lead to the desired effect I suggest to contact our DSL technical departement for example via phone. If you do not speak any german at all I recommend to call with a friend of yours who does so since we can not promise that you will reach an english speaking agent.

Regards,

Lars
