I have a DSL internet contract with O2. Several months ago, I moved out of Germnay and before I left I terminated my contract via help from an O2 store employee (wrote and send a termination letter and shipped my router to O2 in its original box). Recently, I realized that I was billed the regular monthly fee for every month since I left Germnay on my German bank account. And on MyO2 page, the contract seems to continue as if I had never canceled it. Now that I am outside of Germany, I cannot visit a O2 store or call the customer service.

I immediately ask for the proper termination of my contract and reimbursment for the amount I have been billed since I sent my termination letter.

Hi @oguzck thanks for writing us here in our community. 💙
For cancelation while moving abroad, there is a special form which contains all the neccessary information. Did you have used this?

kindly regards
Michael

Thank you for your reply.

For cancelation, I went to an O2 store in my town and told them about my situation (moving abroad). I also brought my deregistration certificate from my place of residence in Germany (Abmeldung) but I was told it is not required. They told me I need to write a cancelation request letter and they gave me an address to send the letter. They also told me to bring the router with its original box, then they gave me another address to ship the router. And they told me this will be enough to terminate my contract. Therefore, I did not submit any other document.

Hello @oguzck,

sorry for the late reply, I hope that your issue could already be solved in the meantime.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Best regards
