Contract Termination due to change of address

Hi,

 

I have raised a request to cancel my o2 DSL contract as I moved to new address and it doesn't have o2 as an option. I have raised it couple of weeks ago and haven't heard anything after that. In addition to that, someone from customer care told me that I would to pay until 11th March which is unreasonable.

Please provide cancellation policy in English.

Please provide cancellation policy in English.

The contract language is German, and the laws in Germany are also published in German. Therefore, there is no legally binding translation into other languages. 
If necessary, translation services must be used on your own. 

Auszug o2 AGB:

Laufzeit / Kündigung

6.1. Verträge ohne vereinbarte Mindestlaufzeit laufen auf unbestimmte Zeit und können jederzeit mit einer Frist von 1 Monat gekündigt werden.

6.2. Verträge mit einer vereinbarten Mindestlaufzeit können mit einer Frist von 1 Monat zum Ende der Mindestlaufzeit gekündigt werden. Erfolgt keine fristgerechte Kündigung, verlängert sich der Vertrag nach Ablauf der Mindestlaufzeit automatisch auf unbestimmte Zeit und kann dann jederzeit mit einer Frist vom 1 Monat gekündigt werden.

 

Auszug Telekommunikationsgesetz (TKG) § 60 Umzug

2) Wird die vertraglich geschuldete Leistung am neuen Wohnsitz nicht angeboten, kann der Verbraucher den Vertrag unter Einhaltung einer Kündigungsfrist von einem Monat kündigen. Die Kündigung kann mit Wirkung zum Zeitpunkt des Auszugs oder mit Wirkung zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt erklärt werden.

Thanks for the info. In addition to that, I also have an o2 sim with kombi vorteil. As the kombi vorteil will no longer be applied, I should have option to change my plan on my phone.

Hello @Rishabh ,

as you are trying to cancel your contract because of the move here, did you also attach the necessary documentation to your request? Else this might be the cause for a delay in your request being processed.
