Hello o2 team,

I’m writing you with regards to my current landline/broadband cable internet contract, which expires in early August this year. I didn't see any option to extend the home internet contracts online (only mobile contracts), that’s why I’m seeking support.

When this contract was signed, I was given a hefty “technology” bonus to convince me taking the XXL (1000Mbits) plan at the time. My goal is to renew this contract keeping the same total price/tariff that I currently have (39,90 € after the bonus).

I would appreciate receiving an offer from you. If you need any more information from me, feel free to reach out.

o2 my Home contracts do not “expire”. If you have not cancelled the contract, the contract remains valid indefinitely after the minimum contract term has expired and can be cancelled at any time with one month's notice. It is not necessary to actively extend the contract by 24 months; the technology discount is granted permanently.


Hey @vinipcam,

blablub has already supported you very well. After the minimum contract term, the contract continues automatically and can then be terminated on a monthly basis. If you do nothing with the contract, the conditions remain the same. 😊

Thank you @blablup and @o2_Lea! I know the contract continues automatically, I was just worried whether the technology discount would be discontinued after the initial 24 months. If this is not the case, all good!
