Hello support,

 

I need to close my contract with O2 since my new building only allows Telekom fibre optic. I had been prepared and booked a moving date to take my O2 contract with me, and just found out this weekend on a noticeboard about the restriction. This means I need to stop the contract move as well. I have submitted the corresponding form through MyO2 already, is that enough? I don’t want a confused technician turning up on the moving date, and I don’t want to be billed for an unnecessary technician visit either. Please can someone confirm this cancellation?

 

Second question is whether I can still add the 12 month Xbox game pass ultimate subscription to my account despite not having any other contract through O2? This is something I wanted to do after moving (as well as change to 250Mb from 50Mb - sadly all these plans are thrown to the garbage pile now) and im not sure if this is possible any more.

You should receive a confirmation to your cancellation automatically if it has been accepted. You’d also get a letter if we needed any further documentation for the termination of the contract. Concerning any additional services, without a contract with us, it will not be possible to partake in these.
