I have registered last week with O2 for new DSL contract. My activation will be on 05.11.2019. From the online O2 service, I got to know that the router will be sent few days before the activation date.
However, I will not be available at that address till 01.11.2019 as I will be travelling. And I am afraid that, if the router arrive before 01.11 then there will be no one to receive it. So, I tried to change the delivery address to my work location (so that my colleague can receive it on my behalf) but, the online portal is not allowing me to do so.
I am getting the message "Der Service steht kurzfristig leider nicht zur Verfügung. Bitte versuchen Sie es erneut zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt."("The service is unfortunately not available at short notice. Please try again at a later date.").
Can anyone suggest me an alternative solution for this.

Have you tried to change the adresse on your computer or in the app?
You will get an email with the delivery date of the router. If you are not at home, when the router will be delivered, don't worry. You have two other options to receive your package.
- When no one opens the door for the post man, he will try to deliver the package to one of your neighbours and left you a card in your mailbox.
- When the post man is not able to give the package to one of your neighbours, he will bring the package to a poststation near your contact adresse and will leave a card in your mailbox. Then you have time to pick up the package within 7 workdays, before it will be send back to us.

Yes, I tried to change the delivery address on the O2 website but I couldn't change it. I got the message: "Der Service steht kurzfristig leider nicht zur Verfügung. Bitte versuchen Sie es erneut zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt."

i just want to mention that the email with the delivery date will say, that the product/router will be delivered soon. There will be no real exact date, but at this point it is already on it's way will only take a few days, until the package will arrive.

As you mentioned, the router is already on its way. So, in this case, could you please share the tracking number with me. I can request my neighbor to receive it, but to do so, it would be better for me to have the delivery timings beforehand.

the number is in the email with the title "Versand der Hardware für Ihren DSL Auftrag".
There should be a number (behind the word "Paketverfolgungsnummer") and a link to the dhl page.

sorry, I think my reply was a little bit confusing.
You will receive the mail with the title “ Versand der Hardware für Ihren DSL Auftrag “ as soon as the router will be shipped. I am not able to send those mails, because thats the job of the appropriate department.

Hello, I have registered and waiting for the router to be delivered. However i noticed the shipping address is wrong and I can not edit this. I could not contact the support neither by call or chat. How could I change the address to make sure I will receive the router?

Have you been able to contact support in the mean time and change the shipping address or can we still help you here? How long is it until the activation date of your contract or has this already happened?

you should be able to contact our english speaking support via the 089 66 66 30 08 1, it’s avaiable Monday to Friday from 10 am til 6 pm.
