Dear O2 team,

Last November I got a new contract from Vodafone. I sent anbieterwechseln formular twice to Vodafone which they forwarded it to o2 and both the times O2 declined it. The reason was that the details provided was false, while as far as I know the details given was all correct. Due to this, I am still getting billed by o2 as well. Kindly request your help in this matter!

Dear O2 team, waiting for your answer! Please, I want to get this sorted before I get another bill. Vodafone has sent me anbieterwechseln formular again to fill and this time asked me to confirm with o2 in whose name the contract currently is as it was rejected twice. If you geting bills, you might have forgotten to cancel your o2 contract!

That should be also the reason that Portierung doesn’t work, because contract is still activ.

 


Dear Denner,  I was told by Vodafone that it will automatically get cancelled once I send them the anbietewechseln formular, but O2 is rejecting saying there is some mistake with the details sent. However, I checked on the portal and the details sent were correct. Not sure what the issue is. Do you know by chance any o2 ccustomer service number? I tried one last time and nobody picked.

That’s a new one. Check your Vodafone order that it includes the termination of o2.

 

the anbieterwechselformular isn’t sufficient to do so. Number of service should be on your invoice. It is Corona time, so it is a little harder as usually.

 

and check your invoice, there should be the termination date on it.

welcome to our community. Your DSL contract is still running until October 2020. We got your request last year but it was rejected because the contract owner is not the same as mentioned in your form. Maybe there was a typing mistake but as long as the details are not exactly the same the termination and the porting will always fail.

Thank you! The details filled were same as what is in the portal. Maybe the handwriting was not readable enough. I filled in the online form sent from Vodafone this time and hopefully it should work.

Denner in his comment above says anbieterwechseln alone will not work, but Vodafone operator said it is sufficient. Could you please guide me here if there is anything else I need to look at to get this thing sorted?

your cancellation is now confirmed by  October 29th 2020. The vodafone information was correct, if the provider change (Anbieterwechsel) is confirmed, this is also the cancellation at your old provider. You don’t have to cancel yourself as well.

Dear Giulia,

Today I went to DHL office to return my O2 router and the office personnel said the retoure form is incorrect as the the device could not scan the barcode on it. Could you kindly advise what should I do in this matter as I used the correct form. I have attached the picture here below. Looking forward to your response.

how does it look like now? Was the tipp you recieved from @Joe Doe helpful? You will find every necessary infoirmation for sending back a DSL router on our DSL logistics portal.
