Hello @Freshoff,
if you send a cancelation it does not matter at which time you send it as long as you are within the cancelation period. If you want to revoke a contract you can do so within 14 days using the “Widerrufsformular” that you recieved if revoking a contract is possible.
If a contract is “just” canceled there will be charges until the date the contract is finally deactivated.
regards,
Lars
Hi @o2_Lars
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by ‘just cancelled’ or revoking a contract. I asked for the contract to be cancelled within the 14 days of when the contract was signed, as I am entitled to, by law. I used the information that I was given in the contract in terms of where to send the notice to. Not sure how else a contract can be ‘revoked’ if it is not cancelled, given that I had said in my notice that I no longer wish to proceed with the contract.
I received a notice to let me know that the account/contract would be terminated/deactivated, whichever word you wish to use. The date given for this was the 29th of December. So, then, why am I being charged up to the 3rd of January?
It really has been frustrating dealing with O2 as it seems that the goal post appears to be in constant motion.
With that in mind, could you please confirm why I was charged for the contract.
Thanks.
Just to confirm, you @o2_Lars had confirmed that the contract was to be deactivated on the 29th of December. I just feel like I am constantly just going round in circles.
I would be grateful if you could please speak to your colleagues and refund my money and then not take anything else from my account. Life is already too hectic to add having to chase O2.
Hi @Freshoff
my colleagues already credited the outstanding amount. Your account is balanced and the contract is completely terminated.
Greetings
Thank you for your help with this!
