Cancellation of Contract due to Moving Abroad

Hello,

I moved out of Germany on 1st September 2024 and I sent all the necessary documents asked to terminate my contract by post due to extraordinary reasons. (The deregistration certificate and the notification of new foreign domicile) It has been 26 days and I still haven’t received any updates from O2 even though I provided every possible contact info. I was charged for this month by O2 and I still keep receiving ad emails from O2 but not related to my termination request Could you please check my situation?

your contract was terminated on September 17, 2024.
Charges will still apply until this date. 
For this reason, you will continue to receive bills even after the contract ends.
If you have been provided with an O2 router for the duration of your contract, please return it.  
You can find all the information about returning the device at https://router-retoure.o2online.de/start.
You will also receive your personal shipping label for free shipping if required.

Thank you for the answer. Is it possible to learn how long and how much i will be charged in total? I could not find it on my page. And about the router… I left it in my previous apartment that I already moved out because when I asked o2 staff, they did not tell me anything about the router. What should I do in this case?

When you don't send the router back, you must pay for it.

Hello @celine_1,

we cannot predict the exact fees, but they will be calculated on a daily basis until the end of the contract.

Do you have someone who can send the router back for you? Otherwise you would be charges with additional costs.
