Hello,

I used to live in germany in 2016, at that time I signed a contract with o2 for 2 years, but unfortunately I had to leave germany after one year. So I went to o2 to cancel my contract, the agent told me that its a complicated process, but as a start I wrote with him a letter and had paid a small amount of money. After that immediately I canceled my bank account and visa and went home. I know it has been a long time, but since then I didn’t recieve any email or message telling me that my contract has been cancelled endly. Is there any way to check that it has been cancelled successfully?

Thanks

Hey @naseem.97,
welcome to the o2 community. To cancel your contract when you move abroad, there is a certain process:

Have you received invoices in the past, by mail or similar? Has the person who now lives in your former apartment contacted you about bills?

Greetings,
Flo

The last email that I have recieved was in 2018, the email was about my monthly bills. Yesterday I cantacted with o2cando on Facebook, they checked my custom number and my phone number and they said “no data can be found”. Does that mean that my contract has been canceled and my data was deleted from the system?

Hi @naseem.97, if you do not receive any emails or letters from us, there are no debits on your account from us and the colleagues on Facebook have checked it, there is no data from you in our system.

Kind regards, Ines.
