Do you move to another place in Germany or do you leave Germany?

If you have opted for an o2 DSL contract with 4 weeks notice to the end of the month ("Flex"), you can terminate the contract in text form. The termination will take effect on October 31, 2019.
Address:
Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG
Kundenbetreuung
90345 Nürnberg

If you have chosen a term contract, it can only be terminated to the end of the term with a notice period of 3 months.
A special regulation exists only in case you move to an address, where your o2 DSL tariff can not be provided (for example abroad).

Hello,

I am using the DSL of 'O2 my Home M Flex' and I want to terminate the contract from November as I will leave Deutschland. What should I do? I have noticed that you said a text form is in need for the termination, but is there a fixed form for that?

Thank you! @blablup

You can use your own words for the letter, no special fixed form is mandantory.

If you want, you can use this form. But be aware: This form says cancel to the next possible date. If you send it now, it would mean cancel to the end of october. So make sure that you clearly specify to the end of which month you want to terminate your contract.

as far as I can see @blablup already answered your questions or is there something left where we can help with? :-)

@o2_Lars Thank you, Lars. Currently I encounter a problem concerning the payment. I have get an email from the O2 that my DSL contract will end on 31.10.2019. However,  the last successfully paid bill period is from 15.09.2019 to 14.10.2019.The question is how can I pay the bill of last two weeks?  Because I will leave Berlin within one week and my bank account will be also closed either.

Regards,

Chen

Hello @cwangtub,

you also have the possibility to either pay the epected amount (around half a months fee) in advance with your “Kundennummer” as “Verwendungszwecke”, you can also chose to transfer the money after you recieve the invoice via email from you home bank account.

If you recieved a rental router from us please also ensure that is is sent back to us to avoid any aditional cost.

You can send a leased router back to us free of charge via our DSL logistics portal.

Regards,

Lars
