Hallo!

I am a customer, I have a recent HomeSpot subscription, but I had to create an account here as non-customer simply because I couldn't find a way to register.

When one tries to register there are no options for HomeSpot users, so tried DSL. But to register as a DSL: user I would need my landline number. But the email I got from O2 don't give me my complete number (for security reasons) and says I would find it once I register and log in on MyO2.

I try again, this time I choose the mobile user option (because the email from O2 gave me a mobile number). I enter the number and O2 asks for a secret password sent to me by SMS, but I don't have a phone with that number (an actual phone) because I only purchased one SIM card, for HomeSpot, and it is inside the router!

I had no choice but to create this account I am using now, which is a non-customer one, so I can't see my account details. What should I do? It's bizarre that O2 does not prepares a path for HomeSpot-only users to register!

Hi @Heliatlas77

Best Regards Matze

The HomeSpot can receive SMS, which you can find in the router menu.
You can get there by entering o2.spot in any browser on the device, which is connected to the HomeSpot's WiFi.

For more information, see the manual

Thank you very much! I'll try that

Hi @davidfmendes

Any update for us after sächsins hint how to receive sms on your router?

Btw, our colleagues created a nice video how to set up the router (in german, but still very helpful)

Best Regards Matze

Yes, it worked. Thank you very much!

@davidfmendes  Thanks for your feeback, and thanks  @Sächsin for the hint.

Best Regards Matze
