I am sorry, an earlier activation date is not possible,
but if you are using an o2 mobile contact we can activate a 30 day upgrade pack for free,
so you canuse your mobile phone as a wifi hotspot.

If you are planning to change that, keep in mind that there are special offers
for an o2 mobile contract, when using a broadband contract in the first place.

I received my router today and apparently it is already connected to the internet, but until the activation date, I will only be able to access the o2 info page.
I find this a bit unfortunate. The router can already connect to the internet, so why not activate the connection earlier for the customer's convenience instead of asking them to sign one more unrelated contract?
Of course, I don't expect my rant to change anything. I'll just have to put myself at risk by working from the office because o2 refuses to activate my connection earlier.

Perfect, this shows, that everything worked as plannend in the first place.
and i know this sounds strange, but its not possible to change the activation day.
The router is connected, but not to the “real” internet, the info page which you are seeing
just shows that the activation order is placed correctly and and your connection can go live on activation day,
but not on an earlier date, i am sorry.
