Hi,

I recently got the O2 myHome M (Cable connection), which is supposed to provide 100 Mbps download speed. It has, however, not been functional for several weeks now.

Initially the disconnects would only last a couple of hours a day, but the problem has gotten worse and it has no connection almost all the time. As of the past 2 weeks, the internet has been unusable.

I checked the Event Log in the Fritzbox 6660 router, and I can see that it is continuously losing the IPv6 prefix. This happens several times an hour. Whenever it does connect, it is very slow and any online speed-test shows extremely high latency spikes. 

I would be grateful for any help.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your cable connection. This is really annoying, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Many thanks for the detailed information.

In this case, it is necessary for you to report the connection faillure by telephone, our technical support will send a ticket to the network provider then. Unfortunately, in this case we can do little here via the community.

Not all of our staff are fluent in English, so if you don't speak German yourself, you may be able to have someone who speaks German to make the call with you.
