Big Problem with DSL Connection

Hello!

3 months ago a technician came to install my router. The installation was done but my internet was not working. I was calling almost every week o2 trying to figure out what the problem was. Of course me not speaking that good German was not helpful at all. Finally I managed to make an appointment with a technician for the 13th of February. But all of a sudden on 10th of February my Internet just started working. I was so excited and I thought that the problem was solved in a way so I called and cancelled the appointment. Apparently it was too late to cancel and while I was at my work I later found out that the technician came and didn’t find me which made me feel really bad for him. When I came back home I had lost my Internet again! I called and if I understood correctly an other appointment will be booked for me soon. 

My question is: How is it possible after 3 months of waiting and trying my Internet just started working by itself perfectly for 4-5 days (although in my o2 account it still says that the activation isn’t done yet) and just like that it was off again? Is there a possibility that something else is going on and that the technician will not be able to help me? 

 

I would really appreciate an answer from an expert or from people who maybe had the same issues.

Hello @G96 ,

why your internet was working for a short time I can’t tell you either. Concerning the connection in general, the infrastructure work that was necessary has been finished and you now need to have the technician appointment to finally activate your connection, that’s what the visit on the 13th was for. So now you’ll need a new appointment, booking one needs some run up time, is there maybe a weekday and time that would work better for you in general?
