Hello everyone,

I currently have a DSL contract ( o2 my Home L (2020) ) since the last month at my old residence. I would like to change ownership of the contract to the new tenant at my old residence since I have moved to a new residence within the same city (Passau). My new place already has internet connection so I don't wish to move my old O2 connection with me.

I knew an ownership change was possible after talking to one of the representatives at the O2 shop in Passau. He instructed me to initiate the ownership change via the Mein O2 portal. I scanned the portal multiple times thoroughly but couldn't any such service. After navigating multiple other answers on the same topic, I finally landed on the virtual assistant portal which told me that“It is currently not possible to change the contract owner” . Kindly propose an alternate solution. I wish to transfer over the contract as soon as possible to avoid direct charges for a service I don't use anymore.

Hi @abhisheknair ,

 

we have no alternative to that specific process, I’m afraid.

There is the option of the contract cancellation. An option which we’d like to avoid, too, of course.

But since we don’t have a set date for when the ownership change process will be active again, it might be something you’ll want to conisder. :frowning2:
