You will be informed of the specific provision date by o2 with the order confirmation by letter and/or e-mail. If you specify a desired date when ordering, this is not binding. I would recommend not specifying a preferred date at all. This is because the earliest (non-binding) date you can request is exactly 3 weeks after ordering.
Thanks a lot for your reply. So I specified a preferred date and it was 6th December as per 3 weeks. I hope that it will be carried out before this date.
You have the best chance of speeding up the provision of the connection by providing all the necessary data (e.g. location of the flat, TAE socket number, data of the previous tenant) completely and correctly when placing the order. It is also important that the previous tenant reports his move out correctly, otherwise the connection will remain occupied by the previous tenant.
Hello @parthvolde,
welcome to our o2 community
As a rule, a new DSL connection takes about three weeks, so the date December 6th. is already realistic if you have ordered only recently.
An earlier activation is not possible in most cases, but you can contact our English hotline directly to ask for a change of the date.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards
Giulia
