Due to the high connection costs, I would recommend placing a move order for your dsl connection and using cellular for the month of overlap. You can simply use a Wi-Fi hotspot from your cell phone.
Hello @CoffeLover and welcome to our o3 community :-)
Of course there is always the possibility to sign a new contract for your new address, of course the solution @blablup offered is in my eyes also a viable way.
Depending on the speed and amount fo date you need both have advatages, if you have a router with a strong wifi maybe it even reaches the old flat? :-)

Lars
Hello,
Thanks for this advice. I doubt that the wifi from my current apartment reaches the new flat as it is 5 km away.
In any case, lets say I use mobile wifi for a few weeks and then put in a change order to change my current internet to the new flat in late March. Is it possible for me also to change the account owners at that time? I would like to add my wife’s name to the contract (but also keep mine - have two account owners)
Best

This is not possible. And I can't think of any reason why anyone would want to do that either.
