I wanted to move the contract, but I was told to terminate contract (kündigung)?


I wanted to move my DSL on March 8, but I got a call from O2 and a e-mail that says the following.

Oder möchten Sie den Anschluss lieber kündigen? Dann geben Sie uns in diesem Fall bitte schriftlich Bescheid, damit wir die Kündigung für Sie ausführen können. Sofern auch eine Rufnummernmitnahme gewünscht ist, kontaktieren Sie bitte Ihren neuen Telekommunikationsanbieter. Dieser wird die Rufnummernmitnahme bei uns beantragen.

If I understand correctly, I can actually cancel my current contract right now?

Please clarify!

I am trying to move my DSL contract. I see the following message when I try to access my order status (www.o2online.de/auftragsstatus/)

Der Inhalt konnte nicht geladen werden, bitte versuchen Sie es in wenigen Minuten noch einmal.

Is my order even being processed? Can I get a confirmation?

My order number is XXXXXXXXXX

Hello @InnocentCloud and welcome to our o2 community :-)

I gathered your two topics into this one so answers are located in one place :-)

Unfortunatley I find no data under the email address that you registered in our community so I can not access any information regarding movong or cancelation of your contract. Fro mthe snippet that ypou posted here it seems to me that a cancelation was offered as a second possibility. If you are unsure I recommend to contact our DSL team again so they can have a deeper look into this :-)
