DSL activation

Hello,

I had Telecom technician came to activate my new DSL line, said everything was fine, got signature and left.

After one day there is still no way to get a signal at all: the wlan and Power lights on O2 box are green, no other light is turned on. The modem has already been rebooted couple of times.

When accessing the config page through the browser it says:

Status der Aktivierung

Hinweis: Bitte überprüfen Sie die Verkabelung Ihrer o2 HomeBox.

The status of my activation, according to this webpage, says that the line should be activated on 8.01.14.But under the field 5.  Ihr Anschlusstermin there is nothing.

Is there anything I should do to activate the line? I was pretty sure that it should be active immediately after the technician did his job. Is it normal to wait for some time for activation or dis anything go wrong?

Thanks

I have the same problem today!

After I have read all the F&Qs online. I think it could because that the cable you have got does not work or it was not correctly activated!

There was some development on my issue. I got a call from o2, and surprise, Telecom technic reported that we were not at home when he came. To say the least I was shocked. I took a half day off from work, asked my house master to come, the house master told the guy from deutsche telecom where all wires are, then I signed the field in his tablet, he said the all is good, and then reports that I was not at home. What the hell is that all that about? The lady from o2 could not suggest what could go wrong and suggested that we arrange a new visit. Next available appointment is one week from now. Really frustrating. Could have never thought it will be that hard and that long.

In my case the telekom guy did not show up on Monday the 6th. I waited for 4 hours taking off from work, and o2 claims that my DSL is activated such an outright lie! even I thought it was not so hard but as the saying goes "Choose wisely" . No one contacted me so far and there is no new appointment. I regret every decision that I made to choose o2! The DSL light doest not even turn green on the router. The call centre people really do not have any clue ! they just make up stuff on the fly! for hearing this I have be on the phone for 4-5 hours So much junk and if I calculate the cost it already caused me so much of pain in hundreds of euros

But you know what ! There is no internet still. So to all the people who are reading this do not fall into the lousy

trap of picking o2 you will suffer and it's painful.
