I left Germany at the end of August I sent a cancellation letter to the o2 office below.



I only have to give a months notice so I knew that payment for September would come out my account and that would be it. This month of october I received an email saying i owe money But i no longer live in Germany or have a account or any ties in Germany. But do not understand why my account has not been closed. I don't know how how to call or check with o2.de

I also wanted to terminate my contract and sent a request letter by post appr. 3 months ago. I wanted to terminate my contract (I used my mobile phone contract more than 2 years) because I left Germany last September. I moved another country and started work there. 



After my request and move from Germany I continued to pay my bill in this three months. However, I couldn't get any answer until 15 days ago. At their reply o2 says that; 



"Wenn Sie dauerhaft ins Ausland umziehen, kommen wir Ihnen natürlich gerne entgegen und beenden Ihren Vertrag vorzeitig. Dazu benötigen wir noch Kopien der folgenden Dokumente:



- die Abmeldebestätigung für Ihren bisherigen Wohnort



- Ihr Einverständnis zur Inrechnungstellung der Grundgebühr von 3 Monaten (gesamt 74,97 EUR)



Füllen Sie ganz einfach das separat an Sie verschickte Dokument aus und senden Sie es unterschrieben zusammen mit den Nachweiskopien an unsere Adresse:

90345 Nürnberg



Sobald uns die Unterlagen vorliegen, werden wir Ihren Vertrag vorzeitig beenden. Falls wir in dieser Sache nichts mehr von Ihnen hören, wird der Vertrag fristgerecht zum 4. Juli 2017 gelöst."



I can not understand that why I have to pay for 3 months payment. Also if I try to send the documents which o2 is demanded, it will be really diffucult and take so long time from my current country. If I try to send the documents this document by post it will take appr. 2 months. 



How can I solve this problem? Is it possible to send the documents by e-mail? Do I have to pay thıs 3 month payment (74,97 EUR). But I already paid for 3 months after my request. Please help me dear o2 Community ☹️







P.S: I can send my new Job contract and the contract of my new house (actually I already sent my job contract by post with my request three months ago but I do not understand why should I send it again).

please hand in the last document that is missing, the deregistration paper of Germany.



You can also send it via Fax, to the following number: 01805 – 571 766



At the moment we do not have the possibility that you send it to me via this forum. It is not possible at the moment to attach a document in a private message.

Thank you very much for your concern and informations. I sent my new job contract via fax on 14.09.2016, 16:15 (Uhrzeit) from o2 SHOP HALLE STEINTOR. S-NR is F1J741789. If it is necessary, I can also a letter from Human Resoursces Department of my new firm and also a letter for my our new Home- die Abmeldebestätigung für Ihren bisherigen Wohnort -(signed and stamped).



I did not get any the deregistration paper of Germany when I left from Germany (I do not have any address in Germany).



What should I do now? Thank you in advance!!!

until now I can not find a new form in your data.



What is still missing is the deregistration paper and an agreement that o2 is allowed to charge 3 monthly basic fees as a replacement.



You didn't have any address in Germany? You had to be reported in Germany, everyone living here is reported somehow.



Or a confirmation of your landlord here in Germany that you left the apartment or anything?

I have a contract with o2 for mobile and for adsl. In september 2016 I moved to france, and I sent you the end of august 2016 two letters with my will to cancel the contracts (one for the adsl and one for the mobile) and I sent the router back.



I attached to the letters the abmeldung.



I didn´t received any answer until mid December (4 months) but I saw that you continued taking money from my bank account.



You wrote me that, to do the cancellation, you want me to pay for 3 more months and you need a letter for the apartment that I rent or a letter from my new job in France. I don´t have a job here, and I don´t have a stable apartment, and I don´t understand why you are taking at least 7 months of bills (more, because from mid december to mid january I was without internet and I wasn´t able to read and answer your email) more after that I left Germany.



Moreover, I contacted your chat service last week (18-01-2017) and your colleage was really aggressive and unprofessional.



He told me that I my contract will have a premature termination, and after this he told me that my contract instead that it will finish probably in august 2017 (1 year from the moment i did the abmeldung from Germany).



Please let me know what to do.

your contract is already deactivated.



And there is also a payoff for the amount of money that you payed more. Payoffs always take a little time (4-6 weeks).

Yes. Yesterday I spent one hour at the phone but at the end i received the oral confirmation that the contract is cancelled. I hopei can receive a written confirmation of this, because your colleague told me that usually aTo conffirmation is sent by sms at my old mobile number, that i have deactivated months ago.

I am in a similar situation, however I received confirmation of my termination In September 2016 (the termination was as at 31 October 2016) but is seems like by account is still not activated (3 months after termination!!!!). I keep receiving invoices and Mahnungen and letters that I cannot be reached on my german address (although I explained hundred times that I will leave Germany in October 2016). Nobody just takes the responsibility to do something about this. @o2_Jessica@o2_Support‌ could you please assist me. It is also impossible to write you private messages.
