I have had a direct debit attempt of 61€ even though my account which began on the 24.01.2020 is in credit for 239€ and should not be billed until the credit is used up. 

Did you have to pay this amount for the phone? If so, this does not have any affect on the bill for your mobile tariff. The money you paid will only be set off against the instalments for the phone.


That’s correct, and I understand however my tariff is 29,99€ mtl - so I don’t know why an attempt of 61€ was made, there was also two incidents in the last month where 5€ and 6€ came out of my account with no explanation. 


Do the 61 Euros appear in the invoice? If it is a new contract you will have paid the connection charge and the tariff for part of the month. 5 Euros (4.99?) could be the postage. Is there any information that might help identify the 6 Euros on your bank statement?
