Incorrect Birth date


Hi, I found that my Birth date is incorrect by one day. How can I change that?

I would recommend that you send a scan of your ID, passport, birth certificate, etc. to o2 via the contact form and ask for a change: https://www.o2online.de/service/kontaktformular/.

Make sure you black out everything in the document apart from your name and date of birth before sending it!

@o2_Lea Der Fehler liegt aber bei o2 nicht beim Kunden. Bei mir zum Beispiel wird beim anstossen einer Portierung immer noch ein falsches Geburtsdatum angezeigt. Der Fehler zieht sich seit Monaten.

It sounds like @Sandroschubert is right or there is a bug on O2 system.

I contacted O2 via Kontakt Formular (https://www.o2online.de/service/kontaktformular/) providing my passport. And I got the answer that my birthdate was correct and needs no change.

Then I tried to do the Ruffnummermitnahme via the app, but it still shows the day of birth wrong.

Then I tried via the Website, there it does not confirm my data at all, so I hope it is only a bug. Otherwise they are just cooking me to stay longer with the contract since I cannot transfer my number.

Anyway, thanks guys for the contact tip.

@Sandroschubert ja stimmt, du hast Recht. Ich habe das irgendwie in dem Moment nicht miteinander verbunden. 😓

@Thyago The Rufnummermitnahme should work despite the error. Did you get any feedback on this after you ordered it via the app?
