An o2 employee will tell you whether a tariff downgrade is possible. Due to your still long minimum term, this probably won't be possible yet.
Hi @Tawn ,
You won't be able to renew your contract until 20 July 2024 at the earliest, but I doubt it will be possible to downgrade to O2 Unlimited Basic then. Bumer's assessment is correct. Ask us again at the end of July and we'll see what's possible.
Kind regards, Maren

Hi @Tawn, a tariff change is currently only possible to a larger tariff. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to do a smaller one

Hello @Tawn ,
You can extend your HomeSpot and switch to the smaller tariff from 20 October 2024. However, your €15 discount for 12 months, which would normally run until May 2025, will end early. As a result, you would end up paying more than you do now. So it would only make sense to downgrade your DSL tariff from May 2025.
Kind regards, Maren
Hello @Tawn ,
So far you have not reported back here.
I also think that in this case it's better to wait until next year. Is that an alternative for you?
Best regards,
Maria
Hello, there is no alternative for me now.

Hello @Tawn ,
So you want to wait until May 2025 and we'll make you a new offer to switch to a smaller tariff?
Then get in touch with us again in April 2025 and we'll look for a suitable offer so that the switch can be made in May 2025.
Best regards,
Maria
If there’s only way to wait , it would be fine. Because if i wanna change it now, do i need to pay more fees right?

@Tawn
please no full quotes. so it becomes confusing. Thanks
Hello @Tawn ,
That's right. If we switch to a smaller tariff now, the current discount will be cancelled.
And we can't give a big discount for your smaller plan, so it would be more expensive for you every month than if you leave it as it is.
Best regards,
Maria
