Contract has been reactivated again without notice after termination!

Benutzerebene 1

Greetings,

Few months ago, I have terminated my contract, got email confirmation with a request to call your O2 service to confirm again, contacted over the phone, confirmed and termination done!

Now, I’m logging back to check my contract to see that is no longer showing the termination status, instead it still give the option to terminate it again.

Please advise!

This is what I used to see after the confirmation. But now, it is no longer showing, instead it says “ungekündigt” now as follows:

Hi @fintach

Welcome to our o2 community, nice to have you here.

Please check your invoice, on page three you will find this

When there is a date mentioned under “Kündigungseingang am” everything is fine.

My i ask you why you want cancel your o2 contract?

Best Regards Matze

Thank you for your response
Yes, I see the date under “Kündigungseingang am” :)

The main reasons of my mobile contract cancelation are the following:

  • the coverage. I rarely get LTE around the town and if the slow data connection.
  • I also noticed that the pricing for the current contract is way far expensive than the newly offered ones.

BTW, I also canceled the home package as for the same reason of pricing!

Hi @fintach

thanks for your open feedback. We really appreciate that.

I regret that you are not happy with the LTE-connection at your contact-address. Did you already check if there are are any interruptions in your area: Livecheck ?

If you are interested in an offer for extension for your mobile or DSL-contract, just let us know. We are happy to help you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

@o2_Tobias I’m curious to know how the offer will look like. Can I bring my mobile number from another provider to replace the current one?

Thanks again!

Hi @fintach

yes, this is possible at any time. Just use this link: Porting to o2

I am happy that you are interested in an offer.

For your mobile phone-contract:

  • How much data-volume do you need?
  • Would you like to include a phone in the offer? Just have a look to our phones that we offer
  • Are you interested also in the package “o2 Select & Stream” for 12 months for free?

For your DSL-contract:

  • How much bandwidth do you need? Just have a look here, what is possible at your address: availability DSL-internet
  • Do you need also a router? We offer the Fritzbox 7590 for rent for 5,99 € per month.
  • Do you like to use only one landline-number, or do you need several landline-numbers?
  • Are you interested also in the package “o2 Select & Stream” for 12 months for free? Or o2 TV in the first month for free?

As soon as I have your reply, you will get an offer by e-mail.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Sorry for the late response @o2_Tobias.

Would it be possible to schedule a call in English?
I’m interested to convert my account to “GESCHÄFTSKUNDEN”, transfer my business mobile phone numbers from another provider and consider the offers. I’m more interested in the unlimited data plans.

Not sure if you already have my contact details!
Let me know if you need any further details.

Regards,

Hi @fintach

thanks for your response.

Here in our Community, we do not offer telephone-calls in English.

But of course, you have the possibility to switch your contract to a business-plan. Please have a look here which benefits are available for you: benefits for self-occupied customers

In order to get these benefits, you normally have to change your private name to the name of your company, even though you may be the owner of the company. Please do the change online: Change of contract-owner

Afterwards, please come back here in our English Community. You will then receive some offers for prolonging your contracts that you already have with o2. Of course, we are also happy to offer you new contracts.

Please also reply to the questions that I had asked you before.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

@o2_Tobias I have already tried Change of contract-owner method to change the ownership to a company. However, there is no option to input the company name, but only firstName and lastName.
I’m also not sure If this is the right way to have totally independent company account from my personal account. Wouldn’t be a better idea to open a company account and then start transferring contracts?

Benutzerebene 1

I also see that I have to pay fees to change the ownership. I would then better to keep these contract to expire and open another account with my own company name!

Benutzerebene 1

I think Change of contract-owner is only to change the ownership of the account to another individual.
What I need to do is to change the address and the company name. I was able to change the address but not the company name. I’m the sole founder of my company!

With the address and name change request to my account, I uploaded the company formation papers for any reference!

Hi @fintach

thanks for your messages.

As I see in your data, you made a change of the name of the contract owner. But you still have a private contract.

If you like to change your contracts to the name of your company, please send everything to the following e-mail-address: o2_vertragsinhaberwechsel@telefonica.com This is the easiest way. Please send also the confirmation of your company together with the company-name.

You are right that the change is charged with 34,99 € for each contract. But if you prolong your contracts for further 24 months, you will get the amount back.

I hope I could help you with this information.

As soon as you have made the change to your company-name, just come back here to our English Community in order that we can give you an offer for extension for both of your contracts.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
