  • Hi all,

I am here to see if I did everything as supposed.
I want to cancel my contract with o2 made on 22.11 because I am not satisfied with the service.

I have sent e-mail to widerruf@cc.o2online.de with document “Widerrufsbelehrung für Warenlieferungen” downloaded from this site. I also neatly explained why I am not satisfied with the service, but I haven’t got any response from them. Note I want to cancel my contract in first 14 days of usage.
So I’ll explain sitation here aswell. I signed contract with o2 on 22.11 and took O2 Mobile M Boost package. Now I’ve been using it since and I have few issues:
    - Signal is never above 2 bars unless I am in city center of Munich
    - Internet speed is awfull. Again, it’s alright when in city center around 30Mbits but other thant that, well, take a look at video attached (youtube link : https://youtu.be/2C8U4lxZpXI )
    - I’ve recently had trip to austria, and let me tell you the struggle. It was pretty much unusable, no signal, and internet, well I couldn’t even purchase ticket from OBB app and almost missed train trying to run to automat to purchase ticket.

So, hopefully I am able to cancel this contract within 14 days ?
    Best,
    Dzenan

Hello @dzenanperla,
nice of you to get in touch with us with your request. You are very welcome. It's a shame that we weren't able to convince you with our network quality. Did you have a look at our Live Check for any restrictions? It may take some time to process the cancellation. Did you receive a confirmation of receipt?
Viele Grüße Bianca

Hi @o2_Bianca ,

thank you for respond on this matter. Unfortuatelly, I have not receive any response till this day on my e-mail rather than automaticly generated one saying o2 have received my email. I did checked Live Check and also did restart of mobile device, additionaly, I did manual input on AP settings to see if things will get any better but without any success.

Best,
Dzenan

@o2_Bianca ,
just an update: I have been charged 40 € this morning and I still have no response from anyone regarding my contract cancelation. Is this really the way o2 works ?

Best Regards,
Dzenan

Hello @dzenanperla, thank you for writing us again. 🙂

Your cancellation has arrived and entered in the system. Please be patient a little longer. Your request will certainly be processed in the next days.

Kind regards Ines.

Hi @o2_Ines ,
thanks for joining in discussion. Folowing this month, I still have no updates on my contract cancellation and yet again, I’ve received new bill to be paid for something I don’t even use since aplied for cancellation.
Please tell me if this is going to be resolved any time soon ?
Thank you,
Dzenan

Hello @dzenanperla ,

so far you’ve sent us two requests for a withdrawal from the contract. As you have signed the contract directly in a shop, a withdrawal is not possible here. This is only for contracts that you’ve made online or ordered through the hotline.
You can send in a cancellation for the contract, but you have a minimum contract duration of 2 years, so your contract would then end in the November of 2025. The easiest way for a cancellation is the online form.

Kind regards, Sven

Hi @o2_Sven, thanks for finally giving some update on this. But I’ve submitted for cancelation within first 14 days of contract validity. So I am not being able to cancel this contract? Meaning I’ve been told you are having great service, I signed contract, after week or so I’ve realised service is not nearly as good as I’ve been told it is, requested for cancellation; and now I still have to pay for 2 years because I am not able to cancel the contract?

Kind Regards,

Dzenan

Hey @dzenanperla,

if you have signed the contract in the store, a revocation is not possible or you would have to contact the store with your request and ask them what is possible. I'm sorry that we can't give you any other information here.

Best regards,
Flo
