Dear O2 team,

I moved out of Germany to Norway in May 2024. On June 6th 2024, I sent all the necessary documents and proofs to cancel my home internet connection (I still want to keep the SIM) however I am still being charged for it. 

I called the helpline multiple times and all they do is send a ‘link’ which leads me to the website where there is no option to make a cancellation request online and or update documents. 

Can someone please help me to cancel this contract so that I am not charged until January 2025.

Yes, I did all these steps already a month ago but I was still charged this month!


It takes a few weeks to process the termination and you have a period of notice of 1 month, so it is very likely you will still receive an invoice this month. Did o2 send you confirmation that your early termination had been approved?


No, I didn’t get any confirmation. And when I called the helpdesk, they said I can see your request for the cancellation from 6th June but it is still under processing. 

He told me he will tell me an online link for cancellation where I can upload the documents again but he never sent me this link.

The online form to send in a cancellation can be found here and if you just wanted to send in some additional documentation then you can use the Kontaktformular for that.

If you want us to take a closer look at things, then we’d need you to login with an account that is bound to a contract, as we currently can’t see any information pertaining to your contracts.

I have cancelled my DSL connection and received the confirmation as well a month ago. My latest invoice still charged me for the DSL. Can you please tell me when will O2 stop charging me for it?

I see that your landline/internet connection has been cancelled on 6th of August and your upcomin bill covers the time until the 4th of August.

Therefore, the contract will be deducted full with your upcoming bill and your bill in September will cover the two remaining days.
