DSL Contract cancellation - moving to home country

Hi,

I am moving to my home country and need to cancel my O2 DSL contract. The min period for the contract was 24 months and that are over, now my contract has auto renewed, which is ok. But I will leave for my home country in 1 week. I sent a notification for termination via the portal. What are the next steps to cancel my contract.

    You need to send a termination letter to o2 in which you include your deregistration document from Germany, proof of permanent residence abroad and a statement that you consent to being charged 3 months line rental from the date you move out of your place of residence in Germany.

    As stated in the FAQ, the documents must be submitted in writing. Therefore, no e-mail address is mentioned in the FAQ and the o2 customer service has also generally not published an e-mail address, since o2 does not want e-mails.
