Hello @jacbat ,
welcome to the o2 Community .
What technology are you using? Is this a DSL connection or are you on cable or even fiber?
Kind regards, Sven
Hi Sven, I am a cable customer and my friztibox is a 6660
thank you for a fast reply.
On cable you can’t switch off ipv6. IPv4 is ds-lite and get tunneled by the ipv6 connection.
If you are using you DNS Service on a PC, just switch off IPv6 stack on the PC.
Yeah, it seems that it’s yet another reason to leave O2 and sign up with a different provider.
could you also tell me what department I need to ring reference my Internet speed? It seems I’ve gone down to 300 MB, whereas before I was getting 700 in my old house.

With DSL you get both ipv6 an ipv4.
Hello @jacbat,
yes, with cable do have IPv6 which cannot be switched off, with DSL IPv6 and IPv4 are included.
Could you already reach the colleagues of our technical department about the lower speed of your connection at your new address?
Best Regards,
Gerrit
