Hello Team,

 

I joined O2 DSL connection about 2 months ago. Contract commitment is 2 years.

A sales person of telekom came to my place and explained entire Fibre contract. 

As per them, I can cancel the contract and there will not be any penalty associated to it.

 

Kindly let me know if the information is correct.

The information is simply a lie! Never trust door-to-door salesmen.

When fibre is available from Telekom in a few months, you can have your o2 contract switched to fibre contract. Any breach of contractual obligations (minimum term of 2 years) will only be expensive and will not bring any advantages.

What Klaus_Voip says here is absolutely correct. Contract terms must be adhered to in any case 🙂 No new contract with another provider can change that.
