my router is not activated

Hi 👋

In my contact I see that the activation date was two days ago. Today I received a router, but the problem is, that it seems to be unregistered / not activated (?). Once connected, I am getting automatically transferred to the Pyur's "Aktivierungsportal". And it's extremely confusing,  what is Pyur? (The "y" is with the umlaut)

Moin Moin,

call the O2 Hotline to tell them the CM-MAC.

The hotline number is 0800 5251378

Or login to Mein O2 with the phone number.

Then go to „Tarif & Optionen/ Vertrag verwalten“ there should be an option to enter the CM Mac.

@Joe Doe it should be. I see it in my contract - "Option AVM FritzBox 6660 monatlich".

That's the strange part, as I went through "Mein Vertrag" > "Vertrag-Services" > "Zugangsdaten Kabel-Router", I only get in the MAC-Adresse the following note, without any options to choose from:

"Sie verwenden einen o2 Kabel-Router. Die Erforderlichen Daten werden daher automatisch an uns übermittelt.

Möchten Sie dennoch einen eigenen Router verwenden. Wenden Sie sich bitte einfach an die o2  Kundenbetreuung und teilen Sie uns bitte die Mac Adresse Ihres eigenen Routers mit."

@Wilson the Duchshund With routers rented from o2, the customer cannot and does not need to hand over or enter the CM-MAC address by himself. This happens automatically. Unless the process was faulty for that.

Ok than you have rent a router from O2. So the MAC is known.

Sometimes it need a little time bevor the router is activated. If not tomorrow than get in contact withheld hotline.
