Hello,

I have recived my first invoice this month and there is a charge for the "router connection". When I connected O2 Live-Chat, the customer service representative explaiened this as for the delivery of the router. 50 Euro for the delivery of router?? In addition, there is a seperate shipping cost at around 9 Euros already. When I asked for the justification of these strange charges, the connection was cut off.

1- If it is a connection fee, I connected the router myself- simple: took out of the box, plug in and also, I did the settings myself using O2 Hilfe. Why do I pay 50 Euro to O2 for a service I never recived!!

2- If it is a delivery fee, from which part of the world is this router sent that I pay 50 Euro for it? Also, then what is the other shipping fee as a seperate line?

I would like to know what are the justifications for these three questions above so that I can make an official complain!

Regards,

Ozge
@ozgecan0987 did you have a o2 VDSL flex tariff? If yes, it is correct if you rent a router from o2. You don’t need to pay the 50 Euro if you a 24 months contract. Best regards.
The justification is: This deployment price is agreed in the price list. If you don't agree with it: Don't rent a router from o2.

Thanks for sharing this figure! I guess my second question would be: Why then I didn't receive a cconnection service for the router but I did all the settings myself? It is like you order a dish, they never serve that dish but ask you to pay as you already ordered!

Thanks! Yes, it is the flex tariff which sounds amazing over the phone when the customer service tells you it would cost less than a contract based service. They never tell you the full cost!
It's not a special "figure", it's the price list you did not read. And all costs are listed when you order online.

Because it's your task to set up the router. o2 does not provide a service that includes the setup of the router. Maybe you did not understand or translate correctly: "Bereitstellungspreis" does not mean that you get any service at your place. You just get a new router you can use for the time of the contract, that's all.

Similarly, this is more like the lease for a car: You pay a larger sum at the beginning of the contract, a smaller sum every month (and then maybe another sum at the end of the contract). In the end, nevertheless, the car is not your property.

For further questions about the scope of o2 services, I recommend to read the terms and conditions (which you have agreed with the order).
