Hello,



I'm trying to install my O² router, and during the installation on the CD I am asked to provide a PIN code, which is supposed to be on the "Willkommensbrief", but it is not there! I only have the "WLAN-Schlüssel"...



I have phoned the O² hotline and they said that this was part of an old guideline, and that if I am asked to enter a PIN code I should enter "1234" and it should work. But of course, it does not work...



Anyone has this problem or knows how to by-pass it?

again in very bad English. You only need the PIN for DSL with "Regio Zuschlag".



Hint:

Uninstall the DSL Connection Manager and Connect to the router with Windows Tools (W-LAN)

If it is ok, try to connect to the Internet via Browser. If there ist an PIN Message again, you got an o2 DSL with "Regio Zuschlag". The PIN or Password is in the Welcome Letter.
