Hi O2 Community,



My O2 "Blue M Package"has been with me for 2 years and it will be ending on the coming 5th of January. I will be away for 3 months, starting mid-January and might be leaving for good after coming back for one or two weeks. Therefore I'm thinking to stop my contract for now as I won't be using for a long period. May I know how can I cancel it ??



If the contract term ends on 5th January and you haven't terminated the contract it will already have been extended by 12 months until 5th January 2018. If you leave the country permanently you should be able to terminate the contract early as long as you deregister in Germany and provide evidence that you are living in another country. You would have to pay three months line rental to do this though.



So it means, I am only able to Terminate my contract 3 months before ?? And the only chance I have for now is wait for my De-registration paper to terminate it ??



Besides, during the 3 months, am I still able to use the phone-line or it's directly canceled on that following day ??

The contract would be terminated immediately if you provide the necessary documents. The three months payment is a fee for early termination.
