if you only want to stay for 10 days a prepaid card would be the best for you.



Any kind of contract would be too much.



For prepaid you can book several packs of data volume if the one you're using is done, as well as recharging some money when it's done. And after your usage you can just keep it, and it will get deactivated automatically when you're not using it.



Here you have the prepaid tariffs:

There you find for example the Smart tariff, which is for 9,99€ per month (after that you can use it for 1 month, and it only extends when there's money on the card, so with no money and no usage it won't get charged).



In that tariff you also have the EU Roaming Flat. With that one you can also use data volume in the Netherlands, do calls within that country and back to Germany for free. Only the calls from Germany to Netherlands would be charged extra, because that is not included.



For you that would be the best option.

Yes Freikarte Smart 1 GB plan sounds best for me. I wanted to ask you about buying this plan.. Can I buy this from an O2 shop when I arrive in Frankfurt? or do I need to buy it online only? I am based in India currently and don't have a German bank acocunt...

you can get one in an o2 Shop!



But please make sure that you maybe take a person with you that also speaks German as well. And don't sign anything when you're not sure if that's really for the prepaid sim card. Not that you end up with a contract.
