Hello O2 Community, I have the following question: my O2 contract is linked to my husband's contract, but now we would like to separate them while keeping current sim numbers. In the O2 shop I was told that we can do it online by ourself, but even when logged in I am not quite sure how to do it. Could you please help me with this? And maybe write short step-by-step path?

I would be happy to provide you with a short step-by-step description. But I just wanted to ask why you are looking to separate the contracts? Especially as the 10 € discount you are currently receiving on your contract each month would have to be deactivated.



As far as the change in ownership of the contract is concerned, please follow these steps:



1. Log onto o2.de/mein-tarif/vertragsinhaberwechsel  and select the phone number --> enter the name and e-mail address of the new owner of the contract --> click send.



2. Check your inbox --> click the link to be found in the mail to get to My O2 and enter any missing personal data --> click send.



3. After the order has been completed successfully you will receive a confirmation.



Please be aware that you will be charged 29,99 € for the completion of the order.

Thank you very much for the help! My husband is going to move his contract over to his company, they will take care of partner's contracts, that's why this separation is needed. Or do you see another better way to arrange this?




No, unfortunately not. In that case the separation of the accounts would indeed be required, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the consequences.
