Hi there! I would very much appreciate any inputs regarding the following questions:

(1) My Kunden-Chat isn't working and keeps asking me to login (after I login and login and login many times...). How to I get through?

(2) Is there a way to get English speaking help on the Hotline? If so, how? I gave up struggling with the answering machine, which apparently has a problem understanding my (poor) German...



Just in case, I provide some context. I have recently ordered a DSL connection to my apartment, but then I decided to include a modem in my contract after giving up on the hope that I could rig my own one. I tried getting in touch with O2 to change the contract, but it didn't work (hence my questions above). I even tried to do it through one of local O2 shops, but the people there weren't very helpful as well and suggested that I simply revoke the contract and order a new one (with a modem). And so I did send them a letter (at widerruf@cc.o2online.de) to revoke the contract (on Sep. 4th, 2018), after which O2 promised to get in touch with me and it hasn't happened so far. The problem is that I cannot get a new contract until my previous order is cancelled, and I would like to bring internet to my house as soon as possible. If that goes on like this, I am considering switching to another provider...

sorry to hear that you had so much trouble already. If I understand you correctly you just wanted to order a modem with your contract? This would normally be no problem, I don't know why you were advised to revoke and order a new one. You can also use your own modem by the way. If you already sent your revoke to widerruf@cc.o2online.de however they will cancel the contract and send you the confirmation via email.



In order to log in to the online chat you need to be registerd on o2.de, but this is only possible after activation of your DSL.
