Please be helpful!!

Thanks!!

Hello helloliu,

here you can check your address if there is a disturbance at the moment:

Netzstörung? Checken Sie das o2 Netz online

In which network are you logged in when you haven't got a signal anymore?

(I'm not really good in some kind of technical English, but I hope you can understand me)

Kind regards,

Jessica

I am new to Germany and have the same issue.

My O2 Surfstick has not worked for about 2 weeks though it has money on it and everything. I went to Saturn (where i bought it) and they looked in the system and found the reason was that O2 were not able to confirm my address. Apparently, a letter was apparently sent to me and at the time my name was not written on our building's intercom, so the letter was returned. As a result, O2 decided that they should disable my sim.

I went to Saturn (where i bought the stick) and spoke to a salesman there who subsequently hit "update" on his system, without changing any of my details. He said this will trigger O2 to retry sending the letter. I am not convinced that this is how it works, but i took his word for it and waited for this supposed letter to come and for my SIM to be re-enabled.

A week later, and I have received nothing and the SIM is still not working.

I got a German-speaking friend to call the prepaid hotline for me and after waiting more than 40 minutes, we were disconnected and were not able to speak to anyone.

Short of buying a new SIM card for this surfstick, i do not know what else to do to make O2 enable my SIM card. i'm so frustrated so please, please, please help!

Jim
