o2 mobile cancellation

Hello, I am moving out of Germany in less than a week and have faxed all of the required documents to cancel my mobile contract. Is there a way to confirm that you have received it and how long does it take to process? I am trying to figure out when I can close my german bank account and how much money to leave in there for the three months basic fee to be debited.
