I have had a lot of connectivity issues in the past couple months but I just assumed it was because I was still on the old Alice plan (I’ve tried to update to a new plan on multiple occasions but I always get strange errors when I try). I updated to the new Home Box a few months ago, that didn’t really help much either. Though I am used to having lapses in connectivity this is the first time the internet has been down for so long. For over two days I’ve had absolutely no internet at home whatsoever. When I contacted someone at O2 about it previously, they just told me to restart my router, something which I’ve done many times let me tell you. Is there just a black out of some kind in Frankfurt at the moment? Is there an ETA to when things will be up and running again? I just need to know what’s going on and nobody seems to be able to tell me or help thus far.

Thanks in advance.

General disruptions in an area are told in the automatic sentences at the start of the disruption hotline

0800 52 51 378 und arbeitet Mo-Fr 8-20 Uhr, Sa 10-18 Uhr

In a big City like Frankfurt there may well be more than one disruption without concerning everybody, so you can´t be sure whether you are concerned or not when you hear such a sentence. If there were a General disruption for more than one day in such a big City it would be in the Radio and Internet News already.

You Need to tell disruption Hotline via cell phone sitting near the router. If possible ask a German friend to do the call for you. Unfortunately you both should be prepared for a waiting time up to more than an hour.
