I want to terminate my contract as soon as possible?

Hello O2 team,

I was wondering how I am supposed to terminate my contract  with o2 as soon as possible.

I have already left Germany and I haven't requested any issuance of deregisteration letter from the place where I lived in Germany.

The only proof that I have is a residence registration form in my country and a flight ticket evidencing that I have come back to my country.

I also marked termination on your website which I needed to call a certain number, but I have no idea what the automated voice teller was saying to me as everything was in German, and I just pressed some random numbers, wishing for getting in touch with any staffs with no avail. Also, in the meantime, I have lost my German O2 simcard, so I think that should be another problem when calling to this number as it is said on the website that I need to call with my German phone number.

Is there a way how this can be handled via email or a phone call where  I can directly reach any of your staffs? If not, please let me know how I can handle this under my current circumstance. Thank you.

Hello @claof19‌,

that sounds like a tricky thing.

I will try to get some information if we can do it without the deregistration.

Please send me the forms that you have (pictures of it) to our private Support User @o2_Support‌.

I explain you now how you can attach pictures:

- in the right corner above you click on your username. In the new window you click on "Mein Stream und Aktivitäten" which means my stream and activities



- in the new window on "Mein Stream"



- right side above there you have to click on "Nachricht senden" (= sending a message)



- as "Empfänger" addressee you put in o2_Support and right next to the "Absenden" (sending) button you find the icon for attaching a picture



Everything else we will settle in the private message.

Hello Jessica,

Thank you for your reply. I just sent two documents to O2_support.

I hope this can be solved as soon as possible so that I can stop paying for the fees that I am not using anymore.

Please let me know if you need anything more. You or any of your staffs may call me anytime at +xxxxxxxxxxxx as well. And let me know once this is finished so that I can remove my remaining balance from my German bank account.
