I have a contract which is going to ending in the coming months. The thing is I had canceled it last year. I received a mail saying I need to call a number to cancel it. I did the same but yet it is to be canceled. Now I need to cancel it, but the contract is in my friend's name who has left the country for good. But I am paying the bill. How do I cancel the contract? as I am too planning to move back!

If you did not call, the notice of cancellation was not effective!It is more problematic, however, that you are not a contract holder and thus can not terminate the contract at all.Please be patient, until an o2-moderator reports here in the thread and can say more about the situation.
Thanks for the reply. The letter was signed and sent by my friend itself, not by me. Later, we did call them within the said time. The customer care lady asked us for a pin which was on the contract and we gave it to her and she even confirmed us that it will be canceled. But, unfortunately, I am paying more 20 euros than I used to pay from past 1 year. Hope they'll do it this time!!

I just checked your account and can herewith confirm that your contract will be deactivated on September 16th.



Furthermore you said you are currently paying 20 € more each month than you did last year. This is due to a discount that was deactivated in September 2016 as agreed upon at the time.
