Hi, I am very angry at how things played out with my account.
I am Valerio Raco, I don't speak German and the hotline does not offer English support. Or they do but refused to pass me an english speaking person.
When I left Germany and closed my account, in May 2018, I was still charged 3 additional months. But I wasn't informed of it, and I already closed my bank account, so o2 resorted to a debt collector to get this money back (infoscore).
When I discovered the facts I called the o2 customer service and I offered to pay the amount I owed, o2 said I didn't have to pay anything because it was their mistake to charge me these three months, since I had to close the account for reasons that didn't depend on my will ( I moved outside Germany).
They also said that they will inform the debt collector.
Needless to say, the debt collector never received any of this from o2
I called the debt collector and o2 at least 20 times, and each time o2 would ensure me that they would fix the situation. I was even instructed to send a fax (which I did) to make sure the right department would contact the debt collector personally.
After many months, the German hotline told me they can't do anything and I have to pay the amount to the debt collector, which grew 3 times the amount I originally owned in the time I was waiting for o2 to solve the situation.
This message is my last attempt to solve the situation through o2. As I always been, I am happy to pay the original amount I owed to o2, but I won't pay for the debt collector taxes accumulated while I was waiting for you to solve the situation.
If even this attempt fails I will denounce the facts to consumer rights agencies, and try to do all is in my power to get the maximum number of people aware of the scam I was the victim of.
Best,
Valerio Raco

I hope. the debt collectors said they won't stop bothering me until I get a written document from you that everything is sorted out. They are scaring my family and my landlord. I am starting to contact some local newspapers and bloggers to write about this.
I can assure you, that our colleagues are taking care of your case!
We are here for you anytime.
Kind regards, Jelena
