Hello! I bought a postpaid O2 sim card on October 2016 from an O2 vendor at Neuer Markt, Rostock. I was told that my monthly bill would be 7.5 Euros. However, from January 2017 onwards my bill has been increased to 9.99 Euros. Wanted to know the reason.

Hello Nayeem11,

it is correct the combination benefit is only possible when you have a second tariff.

In your case that benefit got deactivated at the 12th of December as a correction of the system which checks the combination tariffs, if everything is correct or not.

In your case, because you signed the contract in the shop, and everything is like that in the contract papers (7,50€ for 24 months) I'll activate the benefit for you again now. Not the combination benefit, but a "normal" benefit of 2,50€.

Since December you didn't have the benefit 3 months, so I'll also make a credit of 7,50€ for the last three months as well, which you'll find on your next invoice. ☺️

If you pay 9.99 €, your tariff is surely the "o2 Blue Basic". Do you have yet another contract at o2? If not, you can not take the combination advantage of 2.50 €.

Yes the contract mentions basicpush16 as the campaign name in the voucher segment. It also mentions there will be a combination advantage of 2.5 Euros every month for 24 months which is the duration of the contract. Also between the months October and December 2016 only a monthly amount of 7.5 Euros was deducted. This new monthly bill of 9.99 Euros only started from January 2017. Could you kindly let me know what I can do to fix this?

The combination benefit is only granted if you have another viable contract at o2 ... do you have one? If not, your contract will continue to cost you 9.99 € per month.

In November and December, it was highly unlikely that the combined discount would be paid to you, and that was then regulated from January.

The best you wait until an o2-Moderator here in the thread reports ... the more can you tell
