If you are no longer living in Germany and have deregistered here, o2 will usually allow you to terminate the contract early if you pay 3 months line rental as a contract penalty. To do this you will need to fill in a form and send in proof that you are no longer resident here. A moderator will read this and send the form to you by email. Please be patient as this may take 1 - 2 days.

I have 3 contracts with O2 of which I would pretty much like to cancel one ( with a o2  blue basic 24 months. But have done a year with so far).



Yes, I have submitted the cancellation report and I was texted it would take some times. But this has been going for months now. 



Please advise on how much time does termination require? Also how far is with the process ?

so, your concern is that you just want to cancel the contract earlier?

Without any reason? That is actually not possible.



It is only possible of you are moving abroad with signing off the place of residence in Germany and registration in another country. Else there is no reason to end it earlier.



What you sent to the company was just a normal cancellation letter. With that one you have canceled your contract until the normal runtime end, which is the 12th of April 2019.
