Hello o2,
I'm due to move back to the UK on the 2/8/18 so need to end my contract. When I got my contract at the beginning I took care to choose the one with keine Mindestvertragslaufzeit so hopefully this won't be a problem, however I've realised that I'm supposed to give a month's notice before cancelling. While I don't mind paying the extra month, my issue is that I'll be closing my German bank account on the 1/8/18. If I cancel the contract is there a way that I can pay the extra month in advance? Also how do I actually go about cancelling the contract? I've been struggling to contact customer support as I don't speak much German and I've been unable to get past the automated questions on the hotline.
Many thanks,
Sam Hutchinson

Send the notice by fax 01805-57 17 66.
You can either pay in advance the additional basic fee to your customer account or later after receipt of invoice (the bill you find yes in the online portal "my o2") immediately transfer yourself.
Please note two important things in your transfers, so that everything works smoothly:
Always give your customer number - you can find it in the top right corner of the mobile phone bill.
Always transfer amounts for your mobile bill and My mobile installment separately so that we can match them correctly.
Our bank account details for mobile and mobile phone bills are:
Recipient: Telefónica Germany GmbH & Co. OHG
Bank: HypoVereinsbank AG Munich
Bank code: 70020270
Account number: 5713153
BIC / SWIFT: HYVEDEMMXXX
IBAN: DE16 7002 0270 0005 7131 53
Good to know: Once the money has been received, the amount will be allocated to your contract. This can take up to three working days.

Apologies, the contract I am asking about is for the internet for my apartment. Does the information above still apply?
What is your DSL rate?
I believe it's DSL all-in M(2017) Flex
Then the fax number for the termination is the right one, but not work with the deposits, because the bank account is only for mobile contracts.
For DSL, unfortunately, I have no bank details found, possibly another expert can help here.

Allen ernstes beim Tarif ? Zum lachen finde ich das nicht, eher zu weinen, aber mehr als darauf aufmerksam machen kann ich nicht.
